These are the perfect protein filled snack that will save you when the 3pm hunger hits at your desk or on the go. These bite sized treats will satisfy your sweet tooth and are so easy to make. No baking required.
Ingredients:
· 1 cup quick oats
· ½ oat flour
· ½ cup unsalted chopped almonds
+ extra whole almonds for garnish
· ¼ cup ground chia seeds
· 2 tbsp almond butter
· ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
+ extra for garnish
· 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
· ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
· about 9 or 10 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Directions:
Add all ingredients (except for almond milk) in a large bowl and mix together.
Slowly add milk 2 tbsp at a time until mixture becomes sticky.
Using your hands roll mixture into golf ball sized portions and place on a sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place a whole almond on top of each bite and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes and enjoy!
